Dog’s Best Friend was established in 2008 with the mission to help make life easier for dogs and their families in central Ohio. Dog’s Best Friend believes in providing the highest quality training and pet care, and we are regularly expanding our credentials and knowledge to ensure we can offer the latest and greatest services. We are a registered LLC with the State of Ohio, bonded and insured.
Reid and Cathy met while attending Ohio University. After graduation they started Dog’s Best Friend. Originally focused on pet sitting and dog walking, it grew and developed into a dog training business. We live onsite at our training ranch with our two daughters, dogs, cats, goats, and chickens. Reid is a Professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), and a member of National K-9 Dog Trainers Association.
